When you’re brand new to pin-up style, it can be a little tricky to source clothing. There are tons of brands online but, if you like to check fittings before you buy, you usually have to head in to London (not always a cheap or quick trip). This series of posts is about finding easily accessible pin-up style items on most high streets. Today, we focus on Hobbs.
I found out about Hobbs through my mother. She loves classic cuts and quality garments. Most of the dresses I wear for job interviews come from Hobbs mainly because I think that they look smart without being too bold or costumey.
You can get a wide variety of more subtle pin-up style pieces in stores now. Here’s a few current pieces I picked out:
The outfit for this blog post is made up of a mustard, cat-print jumper and a mustard A-line skirt – both of which are old season Hobbs pieces. I love the colour of these two pieces. I can wear both pieces together or separately, if I so wish. I broke up the colour using a burgundy belt from Hell Bunny. This outfit will definitely be worn again!
A big thanks to my better half for taking these gorgeous images in beautiful bluebells.
